How to become a volunteer.

As a prospective volunteer there are a number of ways to find the right volunteering opportunity for you.

1. Contact the Ellesmere Port and Neston Volunteer Centre to request a brochure of opportunity.
2. Access the www.do-it.org website to look at a wide variety of opportunities available locally.
3. Once you have made contact with the Volunteer Centre they will send you a short registration form to complete.
4. The Volunteer Centre will then contact you by phone, letter or email offering you an informal interview to discuss your interests in order to establish suitable placements to meet your needs and requirements.
5. With your permission the Volunteer Centre will contact the chosen organisations and inform them of the interest you have shown.
6. The organisation will then contact you to discuss their opportunity in more detail.
7. The Volunteer Centre will then contact you within two weeks to confirm that the organisation has responded and that you are happy to volunteer with them.
